Jiu-jitsu as a mean of increasing the level of physical fitness of cadets of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

Purpose: is efficiency research of the use jiu-jitsu means to increase level physical fitness cadets higher education institutions Ministry Internal Affairs Ukraine. Material and methods. For comprehensive knowledge subject research, implementation goal objectives a set methods has been used that mutually complemented each other: study analysis methodical special literature, curricula, educational programs; synthesis generalization; comparison; comparison analogy; pedagogical observation (using instrumental techniques); testing Ukraine (100 m run; 1000 complex strength exercise; shuttle run 10x10; long jump), experiment; mathematical statistical data processing. 125 Higher Education Institutions aged 18-20 years were involved in from which experimental (65 people) control groups (60 have formed. The group included wrestlers, who practiced according standard program. In training process group, implemented cadets. Results: based on results assessment at ascertainment stage, it determined most indicators run, s – 14,40±0,12; min/s 3,92±0,05; exercise, times per minute 51,50±1,25; running 10x10 m, 29,20±0,87; jump, cm 233,32±2,63) satisfactory, accordance with exercises standards approved by Order Ukraine, needed further improvement. After developed program means, during formative stage experiment, experienced probable improvement all general fitness, confirms positive impact improving speed 100 13,52±0,11, р<0,001strength (complex 59,74±1,04, p<0,001), speed-strength ( 253,4±2,42, coordination abilities (shuttle –27,05±0,47, p<0,001) endurance (1000 min 3,33±0,09, p<0,001). However, cadets, no significant changes noted indicators, exception (55,69±1,01 minute, р<0,01) jump (241,33±2,31 cm, р<0,05), underwent changes. test between end experiment revealed presence differences studied indicators.
